What 𗸍 means
Its recorded dictionary gloss is “diligent.” An English index to a Tangut dictionary lists 𗸍 as catalogue item 0415. A gloss is a brief translation aid, not a full explanation of how a character works in a text.
Tangut is a writing system separate from Chinese, although some of its forms look similar. The Western Xia, a historical state, used Tangut in government and Buddhist translation. The script was developed around 1036, continued after Western Xia fell in 1227, and its latest known written example is dated 1502.
A historical script character; a standalone send needs context to be read.
Do not infer the sender meant “diligent” from the dictionary gloss alone.
