Tangut Character for Felt

3643/6136

𗸺 is a Tangut character for “felt,” a dense cloth made by matting fibres together. Tangut was the language of the Western Xia state; its script became official in 1036 for state records and translation. Its earliest surviving document is an official record from 1072. The script continued after Western Xia fell, including in Buddhist printing under the Yuan. It follows some Chinese writing conventions but writes another language.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
