What 𘀞 means
It is a Tangut character; its Unicode label is not a translation.
Tangut, also called Xixia, is the script for the Tangut language. Around 1036, the Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao (also called Zhao Yuanhao) commissioned official Yeli Renrong to develop a script modeled on Chinese writing.
The state promoted it for diplomacy and for translations of Chinese classics and Buddhist scriptures. Its numbered Unicode label is a catalog tag, not an English translation of the Tangut word this character represents.
Why does 𘀞 look like Chinese?
Tangut borrowed Chinese-style forms, but it writes Tangut.
Tangut is a square, component-built script influenced by Chinese writing. That visual influence does not mean the two scripts share the same characters or word meanings.
After Western Xia fell in 1227, Tangut writing continued in Yuan and Ming-period texts, including Buddhist works. A Buddhist inscription carved on a stone monument and dated 1502 is a later surviving example.
