What 𘆪 means
It is a Tangut character glossed as “transliterated sound.”
A Tangut wordbook places 𘆪 under 譯音, for sounds written from another language.
Western Xia’s first emperor commissioned Tangut around 1036 for government and Buddhist translation. It followed earlier Khitan script projects and Chinese visual conventions while remaining distinct. Use continued through the Yuan and Ming dynasties; Tangut fell out of use by the end of the Ming dynasty and was rediscovered in the late 19th century.
Historical specialist writing; a lone message needs a gloss.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘆪 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
