What 𘌕 means
Its translation depends on the Tangut word around it. A study lists it as “mud” and pairs it with 𘉿 in verbs translated “release” or “part”: 𘌕 is transitive (takes an object), while 𘉿 is intransitive.
Li Yuanhao, ruler of Western Xia (Xixia), introduced Tangut script in 1036 for official texts and Buddhist translations. It also recorded laws, poems, and dictionaries; its forms drew on Chinese writing. A study of Tangut characters cites 1502 for its latest dated text, after Western Xia fell.

1Why does 𘌕 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
