What 𘌡 means
Its dictionary trail ends at “seed.” Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut dictionary, a reference work for the language, lists 𘌡 as L2008-5826 and points to 𘌛, L2008-5819, glossed “seed.”
Created in the 11th century for Western Xia, Tangut writing served government and Buddhist translation. An official document survives from 1072. Use continued after the state fell in 1227; an inscription from 1502 is later evidence. Its forms drew on Chinese and Khitan writing, but recorded a separate language.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘌡 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
