What 𘏷 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses 𘏷 as “to divide.”
Created around 1036 for the Tangut language, it served official and cultural life in the medieval Western Xia kingdom of northwestern China, including Buddhist translations.
Chinese writing influenced Tangut’s strokes and components, but it is a separate script. It remained in use under the Yuan and Ming dynasties until the end of the Ming.
