What 𘐎 means
The dictionary gloss is Chinese 廓, “broad/open.” An index to the Xixia script’s Tangut–Chinese dictionary gives the reconstructed reading tśhjwi; this is a scholarly reconstruction, not a modern audio sample.
Is 𘐎 Chinese?
No; it writes Tangut, a different language. Western Xia rulers commissioned the script around 1036 to mark a distinct state identity and support Buddhist translation. Its square forms borrow Chinese writing principles.
Later Tangut books include government writing, Buddhist translations, Confucian texts, military treatises and literature. Writing continued after the Western Xia state fell; a surviving Buddhist inscription is dated 1502.
