What 𘙼 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses it as “transliteration.”
That is a written rendering of words or sounds in another script. Created by imperial order in 1036 for Western Xia, Tangut appears in its earliest transmitted document from 1072 and a Buddhist stone inscription from 1094. After the Mongol conquest, Tangut left daily use, while manuscripts and Buddhist literature preserved it.
Historical and scholarly; its dictionary gloss describes a writing function.
A box usually means the app or font cannot render Tangut; it is still the same character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘙼 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
