What 𘟣 means

It means existing; an old Tangut source adds possession.

Around 1036, the Western Xia court developed Tangut writing. Its forms drew on Chinese writing and the Khitan script, another historical writing system, but remained distinct. Tangut served government, education, Buddhist, legal and translated texts. A carved inscription from 1502 shows it outlasted the state.

Historical and scholarly in context; alone, it points to Tangut writing.

Tangut is separate from Chinese, though its forms drew on Chinese and Khitan writing.
