What 𝌕 means
It names a figure from a classical divination book.
Yang Xiong’s Tai Xuan Jing, completed around 2 BCE, contains 81 four-line figures; each line can be solid, broken once, or broken twice. It reworks the Yijing (Book of Changes), which uses six-line figures and two line forms, for divination. Later readings vary: a 2021 academic article also reads it as philosophy, while scholars differ on whether its main focus is divination, nature’s patterns, ethics, or politics.
