What 󠇒 means
It can select a glyph variant, but only in a registered pair.
An ideographic variation sequence (IVS) is a base character followed by its selector. The base must be an ideograph—a character used in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and related writing—and the selector follows it immediately. Registration ties that exact pair to a subset of acceptable written forms; the selector has no fixed instruction on its own.
If a pair is unregistered or unsupported, the base character appears as usual and the selector stays invisible.

Questions people ask
1Why does 󠇒 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Variation Selectors Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
