What 󠇕 means
It selects a form only in a registered pair.
An Ideographic Variation Sequence (IVS) pairs an ideograph (a written character, such as a Han character used in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean writing) with a supplementary selector. The Ideographic Variation Database (IVD) maps each registered pair to permitted printed forms. The number 230 names no shape.
These sequences let editors specify important differences in written form without assigning each form its own character code. The first IVD collection, Adobe-Japan1, was registered on 2007-12-14. Separate collections serve different scholarly, government, and publishing needs for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean ideographs.

Questions people ask
1Can I put VS230 after any character?
No. It works only after its matching ideograph in a valid, registered pair. Otherwise, normal display shows the base character unchanged.
