What 𐄉 means
It records a quantity of three. The numeral tradition derives from Linear A, an earlier Aegean script attested by the end of the nineteenth century BCE, during the period called Middle Minoan IIA.
Linear A records used numerals to count goods and note measures. Linear B inherited the numerals, pairing them with separate units for liquids, dry goods, and weights. Lower values also occur in texts from Cyprus.
Practical counting in Bronze Age administrative records.
