What 𐄇 means
It marks one counted unit.
As a Linear A numeral, 𐄇 appears on clay tablets and sealed records tracking goods.
Linear A is first attested in Middle Minoan IIA; a high chronology (an early dating scheme) places it at the end of the nineteenth century BCE. It used whole numbers and fractions. Linear B inherited these numeral signs but grouped units and subunits for liquid, dry, and weight measures. The earliest Cretan writing may have been a script called Cretan Hieroglyphic or an older system.
Historical accounting notation, not a general numeral for modern arithmetic.
Use 1 for ordinary arithmetic; 𐄇 signals an Aegean numeral.
