What 𑜰 means
It marks zero in modern decimal Ahom notation.
Ahom script was used mainly for the Tai Ahom language in northeast India. Its oldest surviving text is the Snake Pillar inscription, made during King Siuw Hum Miung’s reign (1497–1539); the script also appears on coins, brass plates, and manuscripts. Tai Ahom use declined in the late 17th century, but priests kept the script in religious practice throughout the 19th century. Modern Ahom use began with a 1920 Ahom-Assamese-English dictionary. Traditional numbers could mix digit signs with spelled-out words.
