What ⍗ means
It represents a file operation in some APL systems.
APL is a programming language built around arrays: structured collections of values. Its notation uses many compact symbols where other languages use words. Recognizing a symbol does not mean every version of APL supports the same operation.
In APLX, ⍗ is called Quad-Drop. It deletes one numbered item from a component file—a file storing values in numbered slots—and renumbers the later items to close the gap. It does not delete the whole file.
