What 𑁘 means
The Brahmi numeral 7 means seven in this system.
The system had separate signs for ones, tens, hundreds and thousands. Higher values came first and were added; a special number joiner marked multiplication in some larger numbers.
Where did Brahmi number seven come from?
By around the mid-third century BCE, Brahmi numerals appear in inscriptions and coin legends. The Brahmi script later gave rise to Gupta and Nagari scripts.
In a browser without Brahmi font support, the sign may appear as an empty box or fallback.
Archival and scholarly; in ordinary text, it reads as a historical numeral.
Use 𑁭 for the later positional seven.

1Why does 𑁘 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Brahmi block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
