What 𑄁 means
It marks the syllable-final /ŋ/ sound in Chakma writing.
As a combining mark, it joins a consonant or vowel rather than standing for a word. The sound /ŋ/ is like the “ng” at the end of “sing.” Candrabindu 𑄀 marks nasalization; visarga 𑄂 marks final /h/. Both may appear with 𑄁 on one base.
Chakma writing descends through Mon-Burmese from Pallava and Brahmi; its letterforms also resemble Khmer and Lanna, but resemblance alone does not establish ancestry. The script is preserved in Agartara, religious manuscripts kept by Buddhist monks, and Vadyali Pudhi, medical manuscripts kept by traditional physicians. The Chakma ballad Radhamohan-Dhanpudi Palha says King Bijoygiri brought the Agartara manuscripts on an expedition around the 9th century.
Why might 𑄁 look missing or misplaced?
It needs a Chakma-capable font and a letter to attach to.
If a font lacks Chakma coverage, 𑄁 may not appear; poor combining-mark placement can also put it in the wrong position.
A technical spelling mark with a precise role in Chakma text.
Alone, 𑄁 has no base to attach to.
Drift: In a 2021 account, Chakma font maker Bivuti Suz Moriz reported that Facebook added Chakma script support in May 2018 and Gboard added his Android Chakma keyboard in September 2019.

2Questions people ask
1Why does 𑄁 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Chakma block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
