What ꭲ means
It writes the standalone vowel syllable i.
Cherokee is written with a syllabary: each sign represents a spoken syllable. Sequoyah developed it between 1815 and 1821, giving Cherokee speakers a way to write their language. Cherokee forms were adapted for printing by 1827.
Ꭲ is the uppercase counterpart for the same syllable. Earlier Cherokee writing often used no case distinction; ꭲ is a small form used in case-marked text, not a Latin i.
How do I type ꭲ?
Use a Cherokee keyboard layout.
The layout determines which keystrokes enter Cherokee characters; a font only controls how they look. Layouts differ, and some map Cherokee syllables to Latin keys.
