What 🖽 means
A picture frame filled with small tiles — a graphics marker. It began in Webdings, a 1997 font that turned keystrokes into little pictures; outside it the glyph collapsed back to a stray letter, so Unicode gave it a code point in 2014. The proposal name “framed picture with tiles” was shortened to “frame with tiles,” annotated “frames.” As of 2026, no slang or hidden chat meaning is established.
