What 뽎 means
With Korean input active, press ShiftQ, H, F, then V.
Dubeolsik is the standard two-set Korean keyboard layout. ShiftQ enters ㅃ, H enters ㅗ, and F then V builds the final cluster ㄿ from ㄹ and ㅍ; the input method composes them into 뽎.
Is 뽎 a Korean word?
It is a valid Hangul syllable block; context decides word use.
Jamo are the individual letters used to build Hangul syllables. Here ㅃ is the initial consonant, ㅗ the vowel, and ㄿ the final cluster made from ㄹ and ㅍ. Unicode derives the Latin character name bbolp from these components; it is a generated identifier, not a Korean pronunciation or a typing command.
Hangul was devised in 1443 and promulgated in 1446 to make Korean writing easier to learn. Its consonant and vowel letters combine into blocks like this one. Modern Korean spelling is based on a unified proposal from 1933; the 1992 KS C 5601 standard supplied the complete modern syllable set. That is the history behind 뽎: a combination in Hangul's writing system, not a separately invented sign.
Why does 뽎 show as a box?
A missing-glyph box usually means the font cannot draw this character.
The text can still contain 뽎 when a font or rendering path displays a replacement box. A font with broad modern Hangul coverage can show it; changing the font changes the drawing, not the character.
