What 쀫 means
It is a Korean syllable block.
Hangul groups consonant and vowel pieces into blocks. Fonts can draw 쀫 differently because Unicode’s reference shape is not a required design.
Hangul’s first documented record dates to 1443. Hunminjeongeum, a guide that introduced the alphabet and explained syllable assembly, was promulgated in 1446. After 1894, the script was commonly called 국문 or 국서, meaning “national writing” or “national script”; the name Hangeul spread publicly in the 1920s. A debated theory links it to Phags-pa, a Yuan-era script used for several languages; direct descent is unproven.
