Hangul syllable 츬

8749/11172

츬 is a Hangul syllable block; its meaning comes from the Korean word and sentence around it. Its Unicode breakdown is ᄎ ᅳ ᆳ: three jamo (letter parts) for the initial consonant, vowel and final cluster ㄹ ㅅ. “Ceuls” is the Unicode label built from those parts. King Sejong created Hangul in 1443 as an easy-to-learn way to write Korean; a 1446 book, Hunminjeongeum, explained its design.
