What 띂 means
It is one written Korean syllable, built from three jamo.
Its canonical decomposition is initial consonant ᄄ, vowel ᅳ, and final consonant ᆸ. These individual Hangul letters are called jamo. Unicode's derived name “Ddeup” spells out the component names; it identifies the sequence, not a complete Korean word.
Hangul was devised under King Sejong to let ordinary people write Korean speech. Korea's official account dates its creation to late December 1443; its explanatory manuscript, Hunminjeongeum Haeryebon, was completed in September 1446. Hangul later appeared in mixed texts alongside Hanja, Chinese characters used in Korean writing, for centuries before Hangul writing became predominant.
How do I type 띂?
Enter its initial consonant, vowel, and final consonant in order.
On a standard Korean two-set keyboard, press ShiftE, M, then Q. The Korean IME composes those inputs into this block.
NFC (composed form) stores 띂 as one syllable; NFD (decomposed form) stores the canonically equivalent sequence 뜹. Text tools may process the two forms differently, and fonts can vary in how they arrange the jamo inside the syllable cell.
Neutral Hangul text; its role depends on the surrounding Korean word and sentence.
One block gives one syllable, so do not infer a whole message from it.

Questions people ask
1Why does 띂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
