What 덱 means
In Korean card-game talk, it means a card deck. It appears in 덱빌딩 (“deck building”) and 덱리스트 (“deck list”), terms for building and listing one.
Hangul combines consonants and vowels into one block per syllable; 덱 has an initial consonant, a vowel, and a final consonant. Hangul was created in 1443; its principles were explained in 1446 in a guide meant to make learning Korean easier.
