hangul syllable gguj

Hangul Syllable Gguj

975/11172

꿎, pronounced gguj, is a Korean Hangul spelling block, not an emoji or standalone word. Its meaning comes from the word around it. A Korean keyboard assembles it from its component letters.

What 꿎 means

Read 꿎 as a syllable, not a message. Alone it has no dictionary meaning; only a full Korean word gives it sense.

Hangul's creation is first recorded in 1443; its explanation was completed in 1446. It made Korean speech easier to write than older Hanja-based Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal systems. After 1446, Hangul coexisted with Hanja and met elite resistance before becoming standard Korean writing. 꿎 belongs to that system, not a separate symbol tradition.

Neutral inside Korean text; unexplained alone in chat.

Do not translate a lone 꿎 as a reaction.
