What 꽜 means
꽜 is one Korean syllable, not a complete message on its own.
Hangul jamo are the component letters used to build syllable blocks. This syllable contributes one piece; the surrounding Korean text gives it a role in the word or ending.
How did Hangul enter Korean writing?
Hangul was devised under King Sejong to write Korean speech.
The earliest record of the writing system dates to 1443; Hunminjeongeum, the book explaining it, appeared in 1446. Before Hangul, Korean writers used Chinese characters and adaptations such as Idu, a system that adapted those characters to represent Korean.

Questions people ask
1Why does 꽜 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
