꺙 is a Korean syllable block, so a surrounding word supplies the translation. It combines ㄲ ㅑ ㅇ, and a Korean Hangul input method can assemble those letters as you type.

What 꺙 means

It gives a syllable reading, not a full word translation.

Hangul is the Korean alphabet; it arranges consonant and vowel letters into one block per syllable. 꺙 joins ㄲ ㅑ ㅇ, so its letters show how to read the syllable while the surrounding word supplies its meaning.

How did Hangul syllable blocks develop?

It belongs to Hangul's system of blocks for writing Korean. Hangul was created in 1443 and explained in 1446 in a book introducing the script. Its component letters, called jamo, combine into prebuilt syllable blocks; 꺙 is one such block made from three letters.

Hangul was made to make writing Korean easier because Chinese characters did not fit Korean well and literacy was limited. Its use later grew to books, practical knowledge, administration, and daily communication. It became Korea's official national writing system in 1894.

Computers can store a Hangul syllable as one prebuilt block or as its component letters. Unicode defines algorithmic rules for converting between these equivalent forms, a later computer layer built on Hangul's letter-and-block design.

How do I type 꺙?

Enter ㄲ, ㅑ, then ㅇ with Korean Hangul input.

An input method editor (IME) is keyboard software that assembles Hangul letters into blocks. Enter ㄲ, ㅑ, and ㅇ; it composes them into 꺙. Depending on the IME, the next keystroke can determine whether a consonant closes this syllable or starts the next.

An ordinary Korean syllable in context; on its own, it leaves the word's meaning open.

A readable syllable is not necessarily a full word to translate.
