What 궑 means
It is one written Hangul syllable block.
Jamo are Hangul’s individual letters: ㄱ is initial, ㅝ the vowel, and ㄺ the final batchim, or consonant ending.
Hangul was created in 1443 and promulgated in 1446 to write Korean speech and widen literacy beyond reliance on Chinese characters. It later carried Buddhist and Confucian translations, books, laws, and letters; it became Korea’s official script in 1894. Hanja, Chinese characters used in Korean, existed alongside Hangul in institutions.
