What 겵 means
Read it as part of a Korean word, not as a word on its own. 겵 is one Hangul syllable block; its meaning comes from the larger word containing it.
Hangul writes Korean with syllable blocks assembled from smaller letters called jamo. The system was completed in 1443 and explained in Hunminjeongeum, a guide to writing Korean published in 1446. The modern precomposed Hangul set drew on Korea's KS C 5601-1992 character standard.
Here, ㄱ is the initial consonant, ㅕ the vowel, and ㄾ the final consonant cluster, called batchim. Unicode's Hangul decomposition represents these parts with ᄀ, ᅧ, and ᆴ; ᆴ is ㄹ followed by ㅌ.
Technical: useful for exact Hangul text or keyboard testing.
Alone, 겵 does not identify which Korean word a reader should understand.
