What 젶 means
젶 is Korean text, not emoji artwork. The Hangul syllable block joins ㅈ as the starting consonant, ㅔ as the vowel, and ㅍ as the ending consonant. Its outline comes from the font.
Before Hangul, Korean writing also used Chinese characters and systems adapting them to Korean: Idu, Hyangchal, and Gugyeol. Hangul was developed in the 15th century for writing Korean more directly; the book Hunminjeongeum explained its principles in 1446. By the late 19th century it had official standing, though writing it alongside Chinese characters remained contested.
