What 줩 means
An opening consonant, a vowel, and a closing consonant.
Written as separate Hangul letters, its pieces are ᄌ at the start, ᅯ in the middle, and ᆸ at the end. Together they form the single block 줩.
When was Hangul created?
King Sejong created Hangul in 1443.
It was designed to let people write Korean in a system distinct from Chinese characters. A guide published in 1446 explained the new script’s purpose and principles.

1Why does 줩 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
