What 줞 means
It is a spelling syllable, not a word by itself. Jamo are Hangul’s component letters: ㅈ ㅝ ㄶ. Its final batchim—the consonant or cluster at a syllable’s end—is ㄶ.
Hangul was devised in 1443 and introduced in 1446 through Hunminjeongeum, a guide to the new script, so Korean could be written without relying on Classical Chinese. Earlier writing also used Idu, a way to write Korean with Chinese characters; Hanja means Chinese characters used in Korean. Modern spelling took shape around 1933.
