What 쥩 means

쥩 is a Korean syllable, not a word on its own. Hangul groups letters into blocks: ㅈ begins 쥩, ㅟ is its vowel, and ㅌ ends it.

Hangul was designed to simplify Korean writing

Hangul was devised in 1443 and explained in the book Hunminjeongeum Haerye in 1446. It offered a simpler way to write Korean than Chinese-character methods such as Idu, which adapted Chinese characters to Korean. Some officials resisted Hangul at first; it later became everyday Korean writing.
