What 쥨 means
Use a Korean 2-set IME: enter ㅈ, ㅟ, then ㅋ.
On a QWERTY 2-set layout, press w, then n l, then z to produce 쥨. The vowel ㅟ takes two keystrokes.
Hangul’s component letters are called jamo. The syllable’s canonical decomposition is 쥨; some software shows those three jamo separately. NFC normalization, a Unicode text form that composes Hangul letters, combines them into one block.
Does 쥨 have a meaning on its own?
No standalone Korean word or chat use is established as of 2026-09-13.
The block combines an initial consonant ㅈ, vowel ㅟ, and final consonant ㅋ. That structure shows how the syllable is built, but does not tell you what a sender intends.
Hangul’s creation and publication are dated 1443–1446. It was designed to make Korean easier to write without relying on Chinese characters, and its letters are grouped into syllable blocks.
Tone: neutral; alone, 쥨 is a spelling unit, not a social gesture.
An isolated 쥨 gives no established clue to the sender’s intent; ask for the surrounding text if you need to decode it.

1Questions people ask
2Is 쥨 an emoji?
No. It is a Hangul text character, so its shape comes from the font rather than emoji artwork.
Why does 쥨 sometimes appear as separate jamo?
It has the canonical sequence 쥨. Some text software keeps those three Hangul letters separate; NFC normalization composes them into one syllable block.
