What 큷 means
No established Korean word or social shorthand. The Unicode name “Keulb” describes the block’s parts: leading ㅋ, vowel ㅡ, and final consonant cluster ㄼ. It is a structural label, not a Korean word. If someone sent 큷 by itself, ask what they meant instead of assigning it a tone.
The earliest documented creation notice for Hangul appears in the Sejongsillok, the annals of King Sejong, in lunar December 1443; the Hunminjeongeum explanatory manuscript followed in 1446. Hangul gave Korean a script better suited to its spoken sounds and more accessible than Chinese characters, which many people could not read. Older Idu, hyangchal, and gugyeol systems adapted Chinese characters to write Korean; they are part of Korean writing history, not ancestors of this block. Hangul later became the main script for official Korean writing.
How do you type 큷?
Use Korean two-set input: ㅋ, ㅡ, ㄹ, then ㅂ. On a standard Dubeolsik keyboard, the corresponding QWERTY keys are z, m, f, q; the input method joins ㄹ and ㅂ as the final cluster ㄼ.
In Unicode’s NFD form (the decomposed normalization form), the jamo sequence for 큷 is 큷: leading consonant ᄏ, vowel ᅳ, and final cluster ᆲ. This is a different encoding of the same syllable, not a new word.
Neutral as a character; opaque alone as a message.
Don’t treat a lone 큷 as a recognized Korean word.

1Why does 큷 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
