What 퀤 means
It is one Hangul syllable block. ᄏ is its initial consonant, ᅰ its vowel, and ᆳ its final consonant cluster.
King Sejong created Hangul in 1443 to make Korean easier to write; Chinese characters had been used for a different language. His 1446 guide, Hunminjeongeum, explained the alphabet’s purpose and design. 퀤 is one block in that system.
Hangul’s square layout groups letters into syllables; its letter shapes do not derive from Chinese characters. Fonts may draw or position the parts differently.

1Why does 퀤 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
