What 쿼 means
It combines ㅋ and ㅝ into one syllable block. Hangul groups consonant and vowel letters into blocks, one per syllable. The component letters are called jamo: ㅋ is the consonant and ㅝ the compound vowel.
The Korean word 쿼크 (“quark”) has two blocks, 쿼 and 크; this is its first syllable. Input methods may join typed jamo into blocks, while text processing can expose the sequence instead. That is a representation difference, not a new meaning.

쿼\CFFCWhy is 쿼 a box on my screen?
fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
