What 뮢 means
It is one Korean syllable, not a full message.
Unicode decomposes it into ᄆ (initial consonant), ᅱ (vowel), and ᇁ (final consonant). “mwip” is a systematic jamo label, not a Korean word.
Why was Hangul created?
To make Korean writing easier to learn.
Before Hangul, Koreans used Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal methods to write Korean with Chinese characters. King Sejong created the script, Hunminjeongeum, in 1443; a 1446 book with that name explained its purpose. Hangul became the Joseon dynasty’s official script in 1894, then lost that status under Japanese rule in 1910.
