What 늗 means
Hangul was designed to write Korean speech.
Hangul's creation was first recorded in 1443, and a text explaining the script appeared in 1446. It gained national-script status in Korea in 1894.
Scholars have compared Hangul's design with the Phags-pa script, dated to 1269. This comparison concerns script design; it does not identify a direct historical source for this syllable.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
