What 높 means
A Korean word stem for “high” or “tall,” usually incomplete alone.
높다 means “high” or “tall.” Endings form 높은 and 높아; the word also describes levels, prices, rank, pitch, reputation and likelihood.
Hangul, the Korean alphabet, was devised in 1443 and promulgated in 1446 for easier everyday writing. The 1447 Korean text Yongbi eocheonga records 높다. The Unicode character standard represents 높 as a syllable block or separate jamo; fonts may arrange those letters differently.
