What 녁 means
It has no meaning on its own. Read 녁 as one sound block inside a longer word. Dictionaries place it in native 저녁 for evening/dinner and Sino-Korean 면역 for immunity, where the surrounding word supplies the sense.
Hangul was made to write Korean with combinable letters; the system was finished in 1443 and explained in 1446. 녁 combines ㄴ plus ㅕ plus ㄱ, so type those three and the keyboard fuses them into one block.
