What 옩 means
In 옩, “Onj” labels the jamo sequence, not a translation. Jamo are Hangul letter components: initial ㅇ, vowel ㅗ, and final cluster ㄵ (ㄴ ㅈ).
Hangul puts initial, middle, and final letters together in syllable blocks. Hunminjeongeum, a book explaining the script, is first recorded in 1443 and was published in 1446. South Korea calls the script Hangul; North Korea calls it Choseongul.
