What 퍵 means
Use a Korean two-set keyboard: V, ShiftO, then D.
On the standard layout, these keystrokes enter ㅍ, ㅒ and ㅇ in order; the Korean input method combines them into one syllable block. In English input mode, the same keys produce Latin letters.
Different fonts can change the block’s proportions while leaving the text character unchanged.
What does 퍵 mean by itself?
It is one Korean syllable, not a complete message.
Hangul, the Korean writing system, joins an initial consonant, a vowel and sometimes a final consonant into each written block. In 퍵, the components are ㅍ, ㅒ and ㅇ. By itself, it contributes a syllable; the surrounding Korean word or phrase supplies the meaning.
Hangul was devised in 1443. The 1446 guide Hunminjeongeum explains its aim of making writing easier for people to learn and use, and describes how consonants and vowels join into syllable blocks. 퍵 follows that same design.
A standalone 퍵 carries no fixed social tone; surrounding Korean text determines how the syllable works.
Alone, 퍵 can look like a stray keystroke; check the surrounding message before reading it as a reaction.

Questions people ask
1Why does 퍵 look different on my phone?
Different fonts can draw the same Hangul block with different proportions. A change in appearance alone does not change the underlying text character.
