What 샠 means
It is one written Korean syllable, not an emoji. The block combines three Hangul letters: ㅅ at the start, ㅐ in the middle and ㅋ at the end. The letters show how to read the syllable; the word around it tells you what it means.
Hangul's first surviving announcement is recorded in 1443; a book called Hunminjeongeum explained its new letters in 1446. The system let people write Korean directly instead of relying on Chinese characters. Earlier systems called Idu and Hyangchal used Chinese characters to write Korean; wider adoption of Hangul had begun by the mid-16th century.
How do I type 샠?
Enter the Hangul letters ㅅ, ㅐ and ㅋ in order. On South Korea's standard two-set keyboard, press T, O, then Z; a Korean input method combines those keystrokes into 샠.
Fonts draw this as text, so its strokes can look slightly different from one typeface to another. Unicode's sample glyph does not prescribe one exact design. If you see an empty box, the font or app lacks support for this character; that display problem does not change the text.
Plain Korean text, with no built-in emoji tone.
A lone 샠 does not explain the sender's intent; check the surrounding message or ask.

1Why does 샠 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
