What 앀 means
It is a written block for one Korean syllable.
Hangul combines consonants and vowels into blocks: 앀 joins ㅆ, ㅣ, and ㅋ. Its generated label “ssik” follows their sound. Hangul was devised in 1443 and explained in the 1446 Hunminjeongeum, a guide to the alphabet and its design for writing Korean speech.
Its strokes can vary with the Hangul font used.
