What 튟 means
By itself, 튟 gives one syllable; the word supplies its meaning.
King Sejong created Hangul in 1443. The explanatory book Hunminjeongeum appeared in 1446 and showed how starting consonants, vowels, and ending consonants combine into syllable blocks.
Unicode's decomposed form (NFD) spells 튟 as the exact Hangul jamo ᄐ ᅲ ᆪ; its composed form (NFC) joins them into one block. Unicode treats both as equivalent forms of the same text. The compatibility jamo ㅌ, ㅠ, and ㄳ look like those parts but are different characters.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
Codes and encoding1 code points
