What 〡 means
This mark represents one. On a price, ledger, or contract, it serves as a commercial numeral; 一 is the ordinary Chinese character for one.
The wider Suzhou system developed from counting-rod methods used in the Song dynasty. Counting rods were arranged on a board for calculation; Suzhou forms became written commercial marks. Arabic digits displaced the system in mainstream bookkeeping by the early 20th century.
