What 𞲖 means
It was shorthand for financial accounts. In South Asia, raqm turned Arabic number words into stylized marks; lakh (100,000) and crore (10 million) supplied larger place values. Persian, Ottoman, and Diwani forms belong to the wider Siyaq family, written in Arabic script.
The wider system appears in surviving tenth-century Abbasid financial records. Indic Siyaq was common under South Asia's Mughal rulers by the 17th century; their offices adopted Iranian-style accountancy using Siyaq in 1584, and South Asian forms lasted into the middle of the 20th century.

1Why does 𞲖 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
